    Job Description

    In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team of five engineers responsible for the ingestion of content from both internal and external sources, which fuels the company's search engines and Generative AI systems. You will manage around 40 different ingestion processes, ensuring seamless integration and data flow. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing and maintaining microservices using Java Spring Boot, including Java 8/11, creating and managing RESTful services, and working extensively with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, writing SQL queries and making calls to the database. Additionally, you will leverage your experience with AWS, specifically EKS and/or ECS, and contribute to ETL development processes. You will also work with XML, DTDs, and XSDs. This position requires at least 5 years of experience in relevant roles.

    Skills and Requirements

    5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer

    Java Spring Boot Microservices: Proficient in developing and maintaining microservices using Java Spring Boot, including experience with Java 8/11.

    Restful Services: Skilled in creating and maintaining RESTful services.

    Database Experience: PostgreSQL and Oracle, including writing SQL queries and making calls to the database. AWS Experience: Specifically Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and/or Elastic Container Service (ECS).

    ETL Development: Knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load processes.

    XML Experience: Familiarity with working with XML data, DTDs, and XSDs. null
