    **Required Skills:**

    Design Engineer, GenAI Responsibilities:

    1. Define and synthesize user requirements

    2. Help establish design processes to align cross-functional teams

    3. Contribute to strategic decisions, working with engineering and research teams

    4. Design and create user experience prototypes and individually contribute to the feature set

    5. Work with user research to user test and iterate on the prototypes

    6. Give and solicit feedback from others to raise the quality and craftsmanship of the product

    7. Partner with product designers, PMs, engineers, researchers and content designers, overseeing the implementation of the user experience

    8. Solve issues with your cross-functional leads

    9. Clearly articulate design decisions to a vast set of internal stakeholders

    10. Help build product strategy

    11. Advocate for product design within Facebook

    12. Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments

    **Minimum Qualifications:**

    13. 6+ years of experience in shipping complex software products

    14. Design skills and the proven experience to lead in cross-functional environments

    15. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods for user research

    16. Experience to think at a high level about product strategy and vision

    17. Portfolio featuring examples of interaction and visual work

    18. Experience building prototypes in short timeframes
