    **What You Will Achieve**

    As **Senior Manager, Network Reliability Engineering,** you will play a critical role in maintaining network service availability and minimizing service disruptions. Working with our Service provider and Global Command Center, you will drive high impacting network incidents as a technical lead. You will also play a crucial role in transforming traditional reactive network management into a proactive/predictive, data-driven strategy that avoids downtime and improves user experience. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to drive improvements in network reliability, incident management, and workflow automation.

    **How You Will Achieve It**

    + Embed core principles and practices of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) in the delivery of network services. These services include LAN, WAN, Wireless, DDI, Security, and IPT.

    + Assume a technical leadership role on major outages or planned events that impact the services in question. Collaborate with the Command Center to ensure processes are optimized for management of critical incidents including escalation matrices, troubleshooting plans and impact statements.

    + Lead post-mortems for major events pertaining to the service. Ensure that learnings from service failures are identified and that action plans are develop and executed upon.

    + Continuously analyze service data to identify improvement opportunities. Opportunities will be assessed on their potential to remove manual effort ('toil'), improve reliability, and enhance customer experience. Maintain a backlog of prioritized opportunities.

    + Drive a Predictive Operations focus at Network Operations, where emphasis is placed on identifying and taking action to mitigate potential outages before they become business interruptions.

    + Work closely with vendors and service provider to drive continuous service improvements.

    + Develop and maintain monitoring artefacts that allow for proactive and pre-emptive monitoring of services, with an objective of avoiding service disruptions. Partner closely with Command Center to integrate the artefacts and associated processes into their day-to-day operations.

    + Develop Dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into network availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

    + Collaborate closely with Product Owners for Network products. This will include understanding roadmaps, evaluating automation and improvement opportunities, and collaborating to ensure robust practices for turnover to operations.

    + Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that improve operational efficiency and network performance.

    + Drive the automation of operational tasks to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and accelerate response times.

This position will have a hybrid work setting with in office and work from home. The Project Manager will provide internal direction, leadership, and accountability for project management efforts among operations as well as across the system. The role will also define project objectives and measures to be tracked by the responsible business owners, and develop and maintain detailed project plans.

    **Responsibilities:**

    + Identify trends and process improvement opportunities across departments within operations.

    + Perform cost/benefit analysis

    + Develop and implement key metrics to measure and report on progress of initiatives.

    + Work with other managers to achieve efficiencies across integration of projects.

    + Develop and maintain detailed project plans, this includes utilizing standard project documentation and methodology and project tracking and reporting procedures.

    + Develop cross-functional, change management and implementation strategies; ensure that all of the participating parties have committed to effective implementation of the processes and procedures.

    + Assist team members in resolving project problems, escalates issues when necessary, and facilities decision-making.

    + Assure quality of information through business case and application level testing; validate test results to initial business needs.

    + Provide concise and timely status reporting as required

    + Monitor operating performance against regional and national benchmarks.

    + Assist with achieving Operations division strategic goals as well as system strategic goals.

    + Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, health care, management, or related business field required.

    + Minimum of four years of related work experience.

    + Master's degree preferred.

    + Experience in health care insurance or health care industry preferred.

    + Excellent computer skills required, including Access, Excel, Microsoft Project, and other pertinent computer software packages.

    + Strong management, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) are required.

    + Excellent Project Management skills along with effective planning and organizational skills.

    + Ability to perform planning for large initiatives/projects, managing all tasks required to providing services to meet client and business needs within budget and targeted deadlines.
