Responsibilities This position is responsible to operate dry packaging line in a safe and efficient manner and ensure quality standards are maintained while attaining efficient line operation and schedule adherence. It is the responsibility of each employee to perform their work in a manner, which will not endanger their own safety and will protect the health and safety of others, and to cooperate and participate in the safety and health programs of the company. NOTE: These requirements describe the main duties of the job, but are not considered a detailed description of every duty that may be assigned or required to be performed. This a 12-hour rotational night shift role with hours of 6:00pm-6:00am. Every other weekend required. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques. Good communication skills. Adherence to all Safety, cGMP, Sanitation and Quality rules and procedures. Must maintain a clean work area and possess the ability to clean pack line equipment. **Production Technician II**
The Allentown operation is a state of the art aseptic bottling and variety packaging facility along with a full beverage distribution center. The site operation will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High Performance Teams. All associates at the Allentown site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation. The site will run on state of the art enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems; and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes.
**Shift & Schedule:** Our Allentown site is a 24/7 facility. **Our shift patterns follow a 12hr, 2-2-3 schedule. With this schedule you are working a full time job while only working half of the days out of the year!** Great work lift balance! We have this position available on our night shift.
**Night shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule**
The Production Machine Operator/ Technician II at Keurig Dr Pepper operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains production and packaging equipment to maximize operational efficiency and maintain Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards in safety and quality in a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility. This includes preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, and making minor adjustments. This role will also be engaged in the improvement of manufacturing processes for the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture. There will be a potential for domestic travel during the training period.
**A Successful Candidate Has Experience With:**
+ Troubleshooting equipment

+ Very familiar with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, TPM principles

**Responsibilities**
+ Performs duties with a safety first approach
+ Ensures work areas are clean and organized at all times
+ Set up machinery and replenish production materials as needed.
+ Operate and monitor line for defective materials and perform other related work in accordance with line quality.

MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA is hiring for a Production Technician I for Final Assembly. This position is primarily responsible for following:
* Predetermined procedures to assemble.
* Modifying and reworking moderately complex products and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring, soldering and connecting.
* Following predetermined test procedures and performing minor troubleshooting at the assembly level to ensure proper operation of the instruments.
* Packing products and accessories according to customer specifications.

Work task allocation:

* Length of time required to become proficient on the job, producing work of acceptable quality and quantity is from 6-9 months.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to:
* Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
