What you'll be doing:
Responsible for completing a variety of graphic design duties to further Company Marketing/ Sales objectives. Oversees electronic pre-press functions and the layout and design of all internal and external publications. Provides professional graphics, images, and designs for brochures, print advertisements, promotional handouts, signs, direct mail pieces, newsletters, multimedia presentations, and website information pages. Coordinates activities with outside printers, service agencies, advertisers, and vendors to complete projects within scheduled deadlines and ensure that printed materials are of the highest quality. Provides support to the Marketing/ Sales team and other departments on special projects and copy writing.

+ Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Berks Intercollegiate Athletics is searching for a part-time Audio/Visual Production Assistant for live video productions, live event streaming, and feature highlight edits covering seven NCAA Division III varsity teams. Live events are produced from the Berks turf field, Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center, and the Hintz Athletic Fields. Responsibilities include the following.
Produce and direct Athletics events, serving as producer, director, operate video switcher, camera operator, providing production support, video engineer, audio engineer, event setup, and event strike. Recruit, train, and supervise student workers to use livestreaming technology to broadcast record, and upload game films. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
This opportunity is a 20-hour-per-week position during the Spring 2024 semester and the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 academic year.

**Position Summary** :
Perform various duties in the preparation and production of various locomotive parts and components.
**Major Responsibilities:**
+ Assembly operations
+ Moving, installing, diagnosing, disassembling, replacing parts and reassembling of simple machines and mechanical equipment

**Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**
+ Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on production equipment consisting of fillers, labelers, case packers, and wrappers
+ Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials or finished products to the warehouse or onto trucks for distribution to customers
+ Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy source for lift
+ Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking of inventory within the facility
+ Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime, pallets/labor hour, line loading and truck turn time
+ Ensure quality product is sent to customers by completing hourly quality checks and inspecting raw materials and finished goods against quality standards
+ Complete and maintain quality, inventory and preventative maintenance documentation
+ Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output and other key metrics, performing mathematical calculations as needed
+ Interact with team members, quality assurance, maintenance and the warehouse to maximize output and efficiency
+ Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and Good Manufacturing Practices are met
+ Work as a team with other operators to ensure no line stoppages and improve operations
+ Cross training to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as needed
+ Provide vacation coverage to team members as needed

+ Prior experience in clean manufacturing preferred
+ Ability to work the scheduled shift which includes start-up and handover meetings

+ Strong communication skills both face to face and over the radio

The Allentown operation is a state of the art aseptic bottling and variety packaging facility along with a full beverage distribution center. The site operation will function on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); principles of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; and the power of High Performance Teams. All associates at the Allentown site will have specific accountability and ownership to the site operations and to their respective functional business operation. The site will run on state of the art enterprise information technology systems and manufacturing execution systems; and with highly automated processing equipment, packaging equipment, and material movement equipment; and very standardized lean processes.
Shift & Schedule available: Our Allentown site is a 24/7 facility. Our shift patterns follow a 12hr, 2-2-3 schedule. JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Office of Science Outreach in the Eberly College of Science is currently seeking enthusiastic applicants for Videographer positions in the Science-U summer science camp program.
For assigned camps, Science-U videographers are expected to take the necessary digital movie footage of Science-U campers and staff during program hours, edit video footage to create short films with closed captioning for future marketing or digital outreach utilization, and deliver completed video(s) by dates determined with the Science Outreach Director. Videographers will discuss filming, editing, and delivery schedules as well as the expectations for finished video products with the Science Outreach Director before each camp they are assigned. Videographers are expected to be efficiently responsive to Science Outreach staff comments on videos before finalizing videos and posting them to requested social media channels. Individuals should be punctual, creative, dynamic, and know how to use Final Cut Pro or Premier editing software or have skills in other software to produce quality videos under time-sensitive deadlines.
Science-U videographers work up to 20 hours per week, so this position is ideal for students who need summer hours for class or other obligations. Essential requirements: demonstrated success with and enthusiasm for K-12 students, excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and learn on-the-job. Must be a proactive self-starter with willingness to adapt to changing position requirements. Reliability and flexible schedule (including weekend hours and evenings) are essential.
