    Position Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant with X-Ray to join our team in Doylestown, PA. Our practice boasts a fantastic long-term General Practictioner and Office Manager. Our Lead Dental Assistant is highly supportive and ensures a smooth schedule for our GP. If you are looking to join a team of dedicated Dental Assistants, work in an office with hours Monday to Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and every other Thursday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and help care for our wonderful patients, then our Doylestown office is the perfect fit for you!

    As a Dental Assistant, you will help support the clinical needs of our patients and doctors. The duties of a Dental Assistant are very important for the functionality of our dental offices. These duties can include patient care, recordkeeping, and appointment scheduling. As a Dental Assistant, you will work under the supervision of dentists and work closely with dental hygienists in their day-to-day activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    + Clearly demonstrate knowledge of dental instruments and assist the dentist in rendering patient care chairside.

    + Maintain inventory control in the operatories where treatment is rendered by the Provider.

    + Adhering to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines.

    + Deliver world class patient interactions related to scheduling, follow up treatment, post-surgical information and record keeping.

    + Be able to perform basic lab procedures such as take impressions, pour models, and prepare cases for external labs.

    + Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High School diploma or GED required

    + X-ray License required

    + Easily able to learn new technologies and systems required and demonstrates a desire to learn

    + Applicable licensing required for the state in which you will work:

    + Dental Radiologic Technologist (DRT) license

    + Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred

    + 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    Summary The Industrial Hygienist serves under the supervision of the Chief of Safety. Incumbent masters the professional concepts and practices of industrial hygiene, serves on projects and activities which make decisions or recommendations that significantly affect the context, interpretation or development of agency, VISN and local policies or programs concerning critical industrial hygiene matters. Responsibilities This position serves as an Industrial Hygienist working with the following: asbestos control and abatement, ethylene oxide, formaldehyde, hearing conservation, hazard communication, nitrous oxide, mercury, hazardous and infectious waste management, water testing and treatment, respirator program, and anti-neoplastic drugs. Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Performs various duties in Industrial Hygiene program to access work practices and environmental conditions for hazards to the health and safety of workers; conducts studies of work operations and processes, examines work environments, analyzes findings, promulgates recommendations, and prepares various reports; and works in environmental conditions involving a variety of hazards including physical, chemical and biological hazards, ionizing and nonionizing radiation, and other environmental agents. Regularly inspects the medical center to identify potential occupational health hazards and the need for further investigative studies and surveys; determines compliance with various established criteria, evaluating exposures, and advising on control measures and changes in work procedures or schedules to comply with established health requirements, and providing information for evaluation purposes; and 1) selects or devises methods and instruments; 2) personally or through others, conducts measurements; and 3) studies and tests materials associated with the work operation or work environment.
