    Penn State Golf Courses is looking for multiple Part-Time Food Service Production Workers to assist daily functions. Duties include:

    + Prepare food items to be served such as, salad dressing, salads, vegetables, condiments, sauces, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, and other simple menu items as directed.

    + Slice meat, cheese, etc.; stock deli cases as needed. Store leftovers properly.

    + Operate grill, fryer, steam table, dishwashing equipment, etc. and f ollow simple recipes in cooking or preparing ingredients for all of the above. Set up and check dishes, utensils, signs, condiments, etc. for serving lines and food bars according to menu.

    + Maintain quality, freshness and cleanliness of food bars, condiments, dessert stations and the areas in which they are served.

    + Monitor food temperatures and make adjustments as necessary.

    + Check products to ensure they meet established standards of appearance, quality and portion size . Replace all products that do not meet standards.

    + Be knowledgeable about daily menus and recipe ingredients.

    + Check, stock, and rotate supplies, food stuffs, and products in cases and display shelves; requisition supplies as needed.

    + Assist in taking inventories as required. Operate and clean equipment such as grills, fryers, cutters, meat/cheese slicer, toaster, , etc.

    Summary/Objective

    Understand all aspects off roofing basics and processes as it relates to the installation of sheet metal. Fabricate and install all types of sheet metal for all roof types.

    Essential Functions:

    • Understand roof basics and processes.

    • Comfortable with extreme heights, walking purlins/steel, and steep slopes on roof structures.

    • Have ability to operate standard roofing equipment (buggies, generator, tractor, etc.).

    • Efficiency in installation such as gluing and rolling out EPDM products.

    • Understand and implement safe working practices in the shop and out in the field.

    • Own and have a proficient use of the following: tape measure, combination square, snips (right and left), hand seamers, pop-rivet gun, utility knife, and chalk line.

    • Able to solder safely and effectively with iron weights and proper furnace temperatures.

    • Able to fabricate and install coping, gravel stop, gutters, downspouts, through-wall flashing, counter flashing, penetration flashing, etc.

    • Cleans construction site to eliminate possible hazards.

    • Understanding of installations on shingle, EPDM, heat-welded, cold process, and hot applied roof systems.

    • Able to install Butler roof systems, standing seam, mechanically seamed, copper flat seam, wall panels, soffits, and trims.

    • Removes snow and water from roofs as required.

    • Loads and unloads truck as required.

    • Erects scaffolding, sets up ladders, or works out of aerial equipment to work above ground.

    • Receives instructions from supervisor.

    • Abides by all OSHA and Houck safety guidelines.

    • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
