    The Operations Engineer II will apply approved technologies and architectures to specific requirements for additions to support growth and new services at Lumen.

    **The Main Responsibilities**

    + Configure and maintain network elements including DWDM systems.

    + Assist and in some cases be responsible for the design and architecture of projects and features.

    As an Equipment Operator, after your paid training, you will operate equipment to safely move earth, equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites. Reporting to the crew Foreman and as a member of your crew team, you will be asked to assist with general labor.

    What You'll Do

    + Safely operate heavy equipment such as: skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grater, hydro-excavator, track hoe and more

    + Load and unload equipment and materials

    + Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections

    + Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment

    + Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications

    + Perform other tasks as requested by leadership
