    General Job Description:

    Field Service Technicians provide on-site technical, electrical and programming, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic support to customers in North America. In addition to field service, the technician may be involved heavily in the machine build process. Travel for this position 60% - 70%. The technician must be proficient in using measuring devices, multi-meters, laser levels, hand tools and other troubleshooting tools. The position also requires independent logical thinking, willingness to be a team player, work efficiently with little or no supervision and strong communications skills. Provides the internal support to Helpdesk Technician II and Helpdesk Leads. Technician is the first to speak with the customer on any electrical, programming, and mechanical service call via phone and or email.

    • Typical field hours are typically between 7am-530pm but may vary depending on job. Travel hours due to flight availability can vary outside the times previously mentioned.

    • Field Service techs typically work between 45-55hrs/wk and OT rate at time and a half is paid when over 40hrs worked in the week.
