Purpose - Diesel Mechanic:
Performs general diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, or senior technicians.
Responsibilities - Diesel Mechanic:
+ Performs general diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established Integrated Solutions (IS) products
+ Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
+ Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
+ Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment
+ Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
+ Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
+ Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
+ Accounts for all time on a timecard and for all material used in performing assigned duties

Requirements
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

Parker Lord has immediate openings for Aerospace Precision Machinists at the Robison Road facility in Erie, PA within the Post Bond Machining department. The Aerospace Precision Machinist is responsible for performing machining operations to achieve quality products with high level workmanship. Machinists perform operations that include setup and run for low volume production.
This position falls within the scope of the FAA Drug and Alcohol program which includes a random testing program and successful completion of an FAA pre-employment drug screen.
Candidates must be able to work off shift (2nd or 3rd) for an extended period of time.
+ Machining high value aerospace products to support the main value streams at the Parker LORD Erie facility.
+ Work to very close tolerances and ultra-fine finishes on rubber to metal bonded products, forgings and castings.
+ Inspection of finish machined parts (sheet metal products, raw materials, forgings, assemblies, etc.) using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments to determine conformance to specifications and drawings.
+ Daily interaction with other machinists to share best practices and support smooth shift changeover.
+ Complete all manufacturing paperwork and computer transactions accurately and timely.
+ Cross-training on various machines to facilitate continued machinist growth and support production needs.

**Key Responsibilities** :
+ Present a professional and courteous image to customers, tactfully handling telephone inquiries.
+ Assist customers with issues via telephone/email correspondence.
+ Quote prices and take orders for spare parts not covered under warranty.
+ Continuously strive to improve skills through training.
+ Perform necessary service on all products, maintaining a good understanding of current flashlight technology.

+ Proficient in testing and repair of electronic equipment, including the use of soldering irons, Digital Multi-meters, and various hand/power tools.
+ Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
+ Excellent communication skills, both one-on-one and via email/telephone.
**Physical Demands** :
+ Regularly required to stand, use hands, talk, and hear.
+ Occasionally required to climb or balance.
+ Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary
Performs a variety of healthcare environmental services (EVS) duties to enhance the healthcare environment by maintaining the location assigned. Follows special healthcare cleaning and trash handling techniques as required, ensuring professional and appropriate service standards while performing the job. Ensures the very best patient/family/ customer experience by optimizing all customer interactions.
Job Duties
+ Cleans and disinfects patient and non-patient facing areas, departments and spaces.
+ Handles various waste streams to include but not limited to; municipal waste and recyclable waste.
+ Wears standard personal protective equipment as required.
+ Follows procedures for the proper use of hospital approved products utilized in the cleaning and disinfection processes.
+ Places the appropriate signage in an area to indicate cleaning is occurring and floor is wet to reduce the risk of falls.
+ Reports identified facility repairs as directed or observed, according to current established policy or procedure.
+ Utilizes mobile technology to ensure compliance with bed management procedures and other environmental services functions that are performed daily.
+ Performs detailed cleaning to include but not limited to; high dusting, walls, ceilings, tracks, vents and lights.
+ Collects soiled linen and transports to hospital staging area for vendor pickup as applicable.
+ All EVS Staff who enter Medication Rooms (Where Applicable) must receive mandatory education on proper Medication Room protocol.
