    **Responsibilities**

    + **Safety is our #1 priority**

    + Performs all tasks necessary to operate equipment according to procedure.

    + Implements customer required quality requirements by performing specified qualitychecks/inspections per the work order.

    + Packages and labels finished products according to the work order.

    + Perform line clearances at completion and start of orders.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on Flexo accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.

    Principle Accountabilities:

    + Responsible for the repair, cleaning and troubleshooting of dies.

    + Operate a standup forklift safely and efficiently.

    + Communicate with machine operators and supervisors on tooling issues and scheduling changes/problems.

    + Maintain tooling equipment and stock for die repair, such as rule, rubber, adhesives, punches, numbers and matrix.

    + Repair and/or modify dies using machine tools and hand tools.

    + Responsible for maintaining die inventory, pulling and replacing die by number and location according to factory cards.

    What you’ll do (Packaging Operator)

    + This position will be responsible for working in a variety of functions within the VMS manufacturing area, such as stacking/sorting/distributing bulk product and material, hand palletizing, sorting product, Moen operation and raw material management (bottles, caps, corrugate).

    Essential Functions (Packaging Operator)

    + Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area.

    + Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.

    + Assist manufacturing with inspection, sorting and bagging process for bulk product.

    + Remove defects as needed (i.e. deformed, discolored, misshaped, etc.)

    + This manufacturing position will be responsible assisting in all areas of production operations, including but not limited to, operating Moen box making equipment, assisting in the bottle dumping area

    Principal Accountabilities

    + Maintain accurate work documentation, both written & electronic.

    + Use commonsense to safely run Compression Molding equipment according to SOPs and JSAs.

    + Safely meeting the production schedule while producing quality blends or moldings.
