Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a CNC Programmer to join our team in King of Prussia, PA\! This is an exempt position that will be performed on a 9x80 schedule \(every other Friday off\)\.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop and write programs for numerically controlled machines using engineering specifications and drawings\.
• Analyze engineering drawings to define configuration of parts and determine type and sequence of machine operations\.
• Develop programs for machining parts, tools, or sheet metal on numerically controlled machine tools\.
• Make proper cutter selections for each part, taking into consideration such factors as speeds, types of cutters, feeds, and control system limitations\.
• Select program routines for the most efficient computer calculation of dimensional and machining requirements for each part\.
• Test and modify existing parts programs for engineering changes or program improvements\.
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Experience with CNC Machining Processes
• Experience with programming 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC equipment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience in Siemens NX, MasterCam, or NCL
• Ability to multi\-task, outstanding effective interpersonal skills, and a consistent track record of teambuilding
• Experience with Mazak and Siemens based controllers is a plus\.
• Ability to effectively communicate, resolve issues and deliver presentations to a diverse set of customers regarding complex technical issues\.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross\-organization relationships\.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement projects\.
• Experience leading the development and implementation of new tools and processes

The objective of the Machinist C is to assist and support the mold shop activities as it relates to mold preparation, mold maintenance, and mold repair.
This is a 1st shift position (Monday-Friday; 7am - 3pm)
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform task assigned by Machinist Lead.
+ Moves injection molds around the facility as required by the toolroom and production departments.
+ Disassembly of injection molds, cleaning, changeover of components, and reassembly of the mold when completed
+ Electrical checks of mold heaters and thermocouples.
+ Water pressure checks of mold.
+ Complete mold and equipment work orders using computerized mold repair database.
+ Maintains housekeeping and cleanliness of the toolroom department as instructed by management.
+ Reports unsafe conditions to the Supervisor for immediate action.
+ Other miscellaneous dutes as assigned.

As a Machinist, you will be responsible for reviewing samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications of output. Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping. Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job. Select appropriate machines to complete job. And preform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
In order to become successful, youll have to quickly learn ATI, our manufacturing equipment/systems, and our maintenance program.
