One of Aston Carter's top clients in the not-for-profit industry is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join their team as a resource on their FP&A team while they rethink some of their processes around FP&A long-term. The team of 5+ also recently lost a member so you would be coming in a time where the team could use some extra help going into the holidays!

Job Description:
+ Develop financial and operating Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in line with corporate parameters and ad-hoc financial analysis to drive better financial and operational decision-making and prioritization for the organization
+ Collaborate with Finance Business Partner on actual to budget variance analysis, monthly statement of operations, forecasting roll-forward, cash flow forecasting, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc reporting. Analyze financial risk and opportunities and long-term projections
+ Provide analysis and insights into variances between actual and expected financial results to the Executive Team
+ Consolidate, analyze, and track actual capital spend to budget
+ Collaborate with the Controllership department with month-end accounting, close analysis, and reporting
+ Analyze revenue drivers and service line metrics such as census tracking, rate analytics and other business drivers
+ Maintain detailed full-time equivalent (FTE) tracking, wage, and overtime (OT) analytics for ongoing financial analysis including actual to budget variance
+ Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages including, management profit and losses (P&Ls), comprehensive KPI reporting, variance analysis, and executive commentary for use of internal management and board of director reporting
+ Administer Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) to manage budget, forecast, and actual data input and output; write financial reports, including income statements, comparisons, FTE tracking, and ad hoc reports and maintain security and dimensions such as cost center, general ledger (GL) account, and budget and forecast scenarios
+ Provide ad-hoc financial modeling, financial analysis, and reporting
+ Performs additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or business
+ 4+ years of experience with variance/flux analysis, forecasting and managing budgets within an organization $100M+ in revenue (at least 2 within a healthcare/NFP/higher education setting)
+ 4+ years of experience with an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Peoplesoft, Workday (can be in conjunction)
+ 3+ years of experience within U.S. GAAP functions such as journal entries, accruals and income statements within an organization greater than $100M in revenue
+ 3+ years of experience working with large sets of data within Microsoft Excel (10,000+ lines of data) and creating data manipulations and advanced formulas
+ 2+ years of experience with creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations to an executive team/committee
+ Experience working in a contract/consulting role within the last 5 years
