**Description**
As a member the Accounting Department, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the maintenance, design and analyses of related financial accounting systems.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst on data mining, manipulation, financial report design and analysis.
+ Support and provide back up the Senior Financial Analyst on all aspects of the Firm’s month-end reporting process.
+ Work with data in an Excel environment.
+ Work in Power Point to create financial presentations.
+ Develop reports in Microsoft SSRS and Microsoft Power BI.
+ Schedule and maintain reports in Microsoft SSRS.
**ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Other accounting duties, as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Information Systems or related field required.
**Experience:**
+ Minimum of two years of related experience. Law firm experience preferred, but not required.
**Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:**
+ Excel experience is required.
+ Power Point experience is required.
+ Experience working with relational databases is required.
+ SSRS report writing experience is preferred, but not required.
+ SQL query writing skills are preferred, but not required.
+ Detail oriented with strong mathematical, analytical and computer skills.
+ Ability to learn new concepts quickly and efficiently.
+ Ability to work effectively with various levels throughout the Firm is a must.
+ Professional standards of tact, discretion, positive attitude and appearance. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
+ Strong attention to detail; high level of accuracy a must.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task with a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
+ Professional and courteous communication with clients, attorneys, paralegals and staff are a must. Strong customer service orientation.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
**VISUAL ACUITY**
Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
