Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will perform various duties and responsibilities of a Financial Management Analyst including accounting, budget, and other related financial management work. You will perform work consisting of selecting and using many different and unrelated analytical techniques and methods relative to substantive agency programs with widely varying goals. You will develop proposals concerning alternative methods, sources, and timing of financing for substantive programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge and skill applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management and budget. Specific work experience must demonstrate all of the following: 1) Validate budget formulation and appropriate use of Navy Working Capital Funds (NWCF); 2) Monitor budget execution to ensure compliance with the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and present performance metrics to senior leadership; 3) Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer requirements align with program budget plans; 4) Develop, determine, and interpret policies and practices to resolve operational challenges for retail material positioning and management of excess inventory; and 5) Utilize the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or related automated financial system to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data.
