About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Emergency Services located at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Patrol installation to ensure safety/security of human lives and property. Arrest persons committing or suspected of committing crimes on the installation. Investigate circumstances where a criminal threat may exist. Promote traffic safety by issuing warnings and citations. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Enforcing laws, regulations, policies, standards or procedures; 2) Ensuring the protection of health, safety, privacy or best interest of the public, staff or others who may be at risk; 3) Completing checklists and contingency actions in responding to incidents, emergencies, or hostile/potentially hostile actions; and 4) Establishing incident command at the onset of a significant incident affecting public safety. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
