This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays required. **Responsibilities:**
+ Draw blood for diagnostic testing or treatment purposes, adhering to established procedures.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA, CLIA, and the PA Department of Health.
+ Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous (SQ), intramuscular (IM), and intravenous (IV) drip methods, ensuring patient safety and accuracy.
+ Assist physicians during patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
+ Take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight) to assess each patient's general condition.
+ Follow internal policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure consistency and high-quality patient treatment.
+ Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
+ Accurately document all activities, interventions, patient/family responses, and prescribed medications in the medical record.
Required:
+ Graduate of an approved LPN school of nursing
Preferred:
+ One-year clinical experience
**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
